Singapore Changi Airport was also recognized as the best in the world, standing out for its innovation and unique passenger experience.
Emirates has been named Best International Airline in the 2025 edition of the Verified Air Travel Awards by Forbes Travel Guide (FTG). Meanwhile, Singapore Changi Airport was honored as the world’s best airport.
The Dubai-based airline earned this distinction for the second consecutive year, reinforcing its position as a global leader in aviation.
Winners were selected through an invitation-only survey of more than 9,000 luxury travel professionals, including advisors, frequent travelers, and FTG’s team of undercover inspectors. The results were validated by Forbes Travel Guide experts, renowned for their rigorous and objective star-rating system, with more than 67 years of historyevaluating hotels, restaurants, spas, and cruises.
Emirates received its recognition for constantly perfecting every aspect of the passenger experience, with special mention of its lounge-style check-in area for First Class customers and Skywards Platinum members.
The airline was also praised for being the first to earn autism certification, having trained over 30,000 cabin crew and ground staff to better support travelers with this condition.
Singapore Changi Airport stood out for its innovative design and world-class amenities, including the world’s tallest indoor waterfall (seven stories high), a 24-hour movie theater, butterfly and bamboo gardens, and a rooftop pool and jacuzzi offering a view of aircraft takeoffs.
In total, the 2025 edition of the awards recognized 18 winners, including:
- Delta Air Lines, named Best U.S. Airline.
- LaGuardia Airport, awarded Best U.S. Airport.
- JSX, recognized as Best Small Airline.
- Air New Zealand, honored with the Innovation of the Year Award for its new Skycouch seats.
